Foundation and Development of Al-Hussan Institutes and Schools Al-Hussan Institutes and Schools were founded 43 years ago, 1377 H. (1957) in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia by Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Hussan. He was aware of the need and demand for a high quality education service for adults in the area, and established
the "Arab Cultural Institute" in Dammam. He also recognized the vital role women played in our society. Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Hussan realized that by providing opportunities for women to receive a good education, the values and morality central to Islam would become central to family life. Convinced that a solid family base is the essential foundation upon which the development of a successful nation can be built, he established the first Girl's School just a year after opening the
Arab Cultural Institute and continued his pioneering work by opening the Model Boy's School in Dammam 23 years later. Following his death, Sheikh Abdul Aziz-Al-Hussan was succeeded by his son, Mr. Rashid Al-Hussan as President of Al-Hussan Institute and Schools.
